Hours: Monday-Thursday 07:00-15:30, Friday 07:00-12:00
About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of a leading manufacturer in the rail industry, looking for a reliable and hands-on Mechanical Assembly Operative to join their HVAC department.
Key Responsibilities
- Dismantling and preparing HVAC units for assembly.
- Assisting with basic fitting of replacement and new parts.
- Supporting insulation repairs and other assembly-related tasks.
- Maintaining workshop areas and equipment, following all health & safety procedures.
- Proven experience in a factory or production environment.
- Stable work history demonstrating reliability and commitment.
- Good practical ability and comfortable using hand tools.
- Strong work ethic, able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Physically fit and able to carry out manual work.
- Full training provided for role-specific tasks.
- Consistent day shifts with an early finish on Fridays.
- Ongoing contract with immediate starts available.
