Job Description

We are currently recruiting for mechanical assembly operators to fit out large electro mechanical assemblies. The role will involve working day shift/back shift on a rotational basis.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities

As an mechanical operator within Nichol McKay you will be responsible for the installation, inspection, repair of mechanical components. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team. Accurately fit, align, and secure mechanical components and sub-assemblies into finished products using hand and power tools. Maintain records and carry out checks on completed work. To carry out any other reasonable duties as requested commensurate with your skills, knowledge and ability in the interests of the Company.

About you

3+ years mechanical assembly experience. Excellent knowledge of tools required for mechanical fitting. Knowledge and interpretation of work instructions and fault finding A safety-first mindset.

Pay: 13.00-18.15 per hour
