This is a full time, site based role on a nuclear power plant project, requiring daily presence on site.

The role focuses on assuring the quality and compliance of protective coatings applied to mechanical and structural assets. You will work closely with your future team, contractors, and quality functions to maintain nuclear safety standards throughout delivery.


?Inspect surface preparation and coating application activities on site

Verify compliance with project specifications and nuclear standards

Prepare detailed inspection reports and quality documentation

Interface with engineers, contractors, and quality assurance teams

?Monitor environmental conditions during coating application and curing

Identify non-conformances and support corrective action processes

Support audits, quality reviews, and surveillance activities

Assist wider QA and QC inspections when appropriately qualified

Qualifications

Required Skills and Qualifications


Coating chemistry background with practical inspection knowledge

?Mechanical engineering background or strong mechanical exposure

Experience working within highly regulated industrial environments

NACE Level I, ICorr Level 2, or AMPP certification

Understanding of protective coating inspection techniques

Ability to interpret specifications, procedures, and standards

?Strong inspection reporting and documentation skills

Eligible to work in the UK and attend site daily
