Are you an experienced HVAC Design Engineer looking to work on exciting and technically demanding projects? We're looking for a proactive and detail-driven professional to join our growing team.

As a Mechanical Design Engineer,you'll be responsible for the planning, design, and development of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, ensuring compliance with all industry standards and project requirements. You'll collaborate closely with architects, contractors, and engineering teams to deliver fully integrated building services.

Key Responsibilities:

Design HVAC systems including ductwork, piping, and equipment layout Perform detailed heating and cooling load calculations using industry-standard software Select and specify HVAC equipment Develop technical drawings using AutoCAD, Revit MEP, or similar design tools Ensure compliance with relevant standards including AWE, Sellafield, and local building codes Participate in site visits for inspections, commissioning, and troubleshooting Provide cost estimates and support procurement processes Incorporate sustainable, low-energy design practices Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices
What We're Looking For:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent) Experience using AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and BIM workflows Solid understanding of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and HVAC principles Familiarity with CIBSE, BS EN and other applicable standard
