Position Overview

We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented

Mechanical/Electrical Assembler

to join our manufacturing team in Andover. In this hands-on role, you will assemble and test our new range of Robotic mowers, ensuring each product meets our high-quality standards. This position is ideal for someone with solid technical skills who enjoys working independently as well as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

Assemble mechanical and electrical subassemblies and finished products according to drawings, wiring diagrams, and work instructions. Perform basic wiring, crimping, and soldering. Use common hand tools, torque wrenches, and measuring instruments to ensure accurate assembly. Test and inspect completed assemblies for functionality, fit, and finish. Identify and correct simple mechanical or electrical issues during the build process. Maintain a clean and organised work area. Work collaboratively with R&D engineers to meet quality and customer demands.

Qualifications

Technical or vocational training in mechanical or electrical assembly preferred. Experience in a manufacturing or production environment. Ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings and wiring diagrams. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic electrical test equipment. Good manual dexterity, attention to detail, and commitment to quality work. Positive attitude and willingness to learn and take on new challenges in a small team environment.

Working hours

7am to 3.30pm - Monday to Friday
