Job Description

Do you have experience of running complex mechanical, electrical and lift servicing and repairs contacts? If the answer is yes, Portsmouth City Council are seeking a Contracts Manager to lead the delivery of high-value, compliance driven servicing and repairs contracts for our mechanical, electrical and lift installations across our housing and corporate assets.


In this role you will manage several contracts, ensuring statutory compliance, service excellence and continuous improvement. You'll oversee gas servicing, mechanical plant, electrical plant and lift maintenance across 17,000 dwellings and 900 corporate assets, while shaping policy, leading procurement and driving innovation.


We are looking for someone with:

Proven experience in contract management, especially NEC Cost Reimbursable and Schedule of Rates Technical experience of mechanical, electrical and lifts Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills Passion for compliance and ensuring buildings are safe and functional

Salary: 60,906 - 68,200 p.a.
