Due to continued growth, we are seeking an M&E Mechanical and Electrical project manager to our team and deliver high-quality projects.
Overview
We are seeking an experienced M&E Project Manager to oversee and manage mechanical and electrical projects from inception to completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in accordance with quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent time management abilities, and an strong drive to deliver.
Responsibilities
Lead the planning and implementation of M&E projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements and industry standards.
Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
Coordinate with various stakeholders including engineers, contractors, and clients to facilitate effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Monitor project progress and performance, making adjustments as necessary to ensure successful delivery.
Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to address potential issues.
Prepare regular project reports detailing progress, challenges, and solutions for stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations throughout all phases of the project.
Manage budgets effectively while maintaining quality standards in all deliverables.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Project Manager in the mechanical and electrical sector or a related field.
Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6 and Civil 3D is essential.
Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse teams.
A degree in engineering or a related discipline is preferred but not essential if experience is demonstrable.
