Titan Plant Hire is one of the Gill Group of Companies and supports our civil engineering company who are one of the leading airfield/ports/highway concrete paving companies in the United Kingdom and have been successful in a bid to conduct civil engineering works at Airports, Highways and Docks throughout the country.

We are looking for a Heavy/Large Plant Fitter which will involve the repair and service of a fleet of large Plant and Construction equipment.

Ideally you will be time served in both mechanical and electrical maintenance with equipment such as small tools and general plant from Forklift, Compressors, 360 Excavators, Bell 25 tonne Dumpers, Cherry Pickers.

The right candidate will have the following skills:

Lead and manage the mechanical engineering and maintenance operations for all construction plant and heavy equipment. Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs. Coordinate troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair of complex mechanical faults. Supervise installation, commissioning, and performance testing of new machinery and equipment. Manage the mobilisation and demobilisation of batching plants. Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and company policies. Maintain detailed service records, inspection logs, and maintenance histories. Oversee spare parts inventory, procurement, and vendor coordination. Monitor performance KPIs (e.g., equipment uptime, maintenance cost) and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and maintenance teams Participate in budget preparation, cost control, and reporting related to plant and equipment.

Pay: 45,000.00-48,000.00 per year
