Salary: 44K - 55k DOE

As we continue to grow, we're looking for a Mechanical Estimator to join a very busy growing team to work out of our Birmingham office.

Job Brief:



We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Estimator with design knowledge. Candidates with experience of using Estimation Software will have a distinct advantage. The ideal candidate should be analytical and have strong numerical skills and a good understanding of Microsoft Excel.

Duties and Responsibilities:



Responsible in the preparation of Tenders by analysing proposals and requirements. Responsible in preparing sub-contractor enquiries for various mechanical trades. Gathering and analysing quotations to make sure they cover the specification and drawings. Responsible in the evaluation of sub-contractors and supplier quotations. Liaise with internal & external people and organisations to review tenders and conduct handover meetings with relevant personnel. Ensure that all tenders submitted are technically correct, comply with all documentation provided by the client and meet all set deadlines. Represent the company on site visits, negotiations and meetings with Clients when required. Preparing tender packages for bids, interviews and presentations.

Qualifications:



Relevant mechanical qualifications. Working knowledge and experience of Microsoft office applications. Excellent numerical skills.
