Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Estimator to join our team in the United Kingdom. Based in our office, you will play a crucial role in preparing accurate cost estimates for our projects, ensuring competitive pricing while maintaining quality standards. Your work will support our mission to provide exceptional mechanical services across various sectors.

Responsibilities

Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for mechanical projects including heating, cooling, plumbing, drainage, and gas installations. Collaborate with project managers and clients to understand project requirements. Review drawings and technical specifications to determine project scope. Monitor for variations and update estimates as needed throughout the project lifecycle. Assist our procurement team by providing obtaining subcontractor quotations. Contribute to bid preparations and tender submissions. Ensure all estimates comply with company policies and industry standards.

Qualifications

A minimum of 5 years experience as an Estimator within the mechanical services or construction industry. Strong understanding of heating & cooling systems, plumbing, drainage, and gas installations. Proficient in reading technical drawings and specifications. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and suppliers. Relevant certifications or qualifications in construction or mechanical building services are preferred.

Pay: 24,420.00-60,395.14 per year
