Job Description

We are looking for a skilled PCV/HGV Mechanical Fitter to join our friendly and professional engineering team. You'll play a key role in maintaining and repairing our modern fleet, ensuring vehicles are safe, reliable and operating at peak performance -- helping us minimise downtime and keep our services running smoothly.

You'll be working in a clean, modern workshop with up-to-date equipment, alongside a supportive team that values quality workmanship and a positive working environment.

Key Responsibilities

Routine vehicle maintenance, servicing and running repairs across a varied fleet MOT preparation and defect rectification to the highest standards Diagnosing faults and carrying out timely, cost-effective repairs Ensuring all work complies with Operator Licence and Health & Safety requirements Organising daily workload effectively and communicating clearly with the team Working flexibly to meet operational needs
What We're Looking For

An energetic, self-motivated mechanic who can work confidently both independently and as part of a team PCV driving licence desirable but not essential Willingness to train towards a PCV driving licence (training provided) A strong focus on safety, quality and reliability
