IHS UK LTD is a fast growing company based on the outskirts of Sheffield. We offer a turn-key engineering service from our 18,000 square foot factory where we specialize in Manufacturing, Hydraulics, Electrical, Pneumatics and bespoke software.

Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter (Electrically Biased) to join our dynamic team at Integrated Hydraulic Solutions UK LTD. In this role, you will be instrumental the manufacture of high-quality machines, contributing to our mission of delivering innovative solutions to our clients.

Responsibilities

Assembling large, complex mobile and static machinery Applying your electrical expertise to bespoke engineering builds Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during the manufacturing process. Interpret technical drawings and schematics to ensure accurate assembly. Conduct quality checks on completed work to maintain high standards of production. Collaborate with engineers and other team members to troubleshoot issues as they arise.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Fitter or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical & electrical knowledge with the ability to work with various materials. Ability to read and work from CAD drawings Excellent attention to detail Familiarity with hand tools and power tools essential.
