Job Description
The Role
We are looking for a Mechanical Fitter to work with us on a fixed term contract (with the potential to be made permanent), who will be responsible for the assembly and maintenance of machine and production parts.
Key Responsibilities
Work with engineering / production staff within the engineering shop as requested. Operate hand and power tools and other associated plant within the engineering shop to achieve project requirements. Welding as required, this capability is desirable, not essential. Machining (turning, milling, brake press) as required, this capability is desirable, not essential. To assist in the service and repair of plant and equipment, as requested. Undertake assistance to other departments as required. Continual improvement of the management of engineering processes.
