Job Description

Due to continued growth I'm currently recruiting for a Mechanical Fitter to work with a well-established engineering company based near Halesowen. As the Mechanical Fitter you will be responsible for covering hydraulic presses along with other plant machinery.

Shift pattern for the Mechanical Fitter:

Monday - Thursday (6.00am - 16:00pm)

What's on offer for the Mechanical Fitter:

Hourly rate up to 16.28 (DOE)

Duties of the Mechanical Fitter:

Work in safe and responsible manner. Time keeping / attendance. Maintenance of Press both preventive and reactive. Timely response to all reactive breakdowns. Flexibility to work around production requirements. Critical spares stock. Reliability of press - improvement projects. Hydraulic system servicing and monitoring. Engineering support across site. Maintenance of other equipment within department.

The successful candidate for the Mechanical Fitters position will have the following experience:

2 - 5 year's experience working with Hydraulic presses (Essential)

Experience in updating and maintaining Maintenance systems (Essential)

Strong Administration skills (Essential)
