ACLAS Technics Ltd, an EASA, FAA and TCCA approved aviation MRO, are recruiting within our component maintenance facility, based at Livingston for an mechanical fitter to work in our team. The role requires flexibility with hours but will in general be Monday to Friday 0700-1600

Aircraft Workshop mechanical fitter

Key Responsibilities

Routine, planned and unplanned maintenance and repair on aircraft components Troubleshooting technical issues and isolating faulty components and repairing or replacing them Conducting functional tests on all components where required Performing inspections on all equipment and controls as required

Requirements

minimum 2 years' experience as an Mechanical Fitter or similar Ability to use measurement test equipment Familiarity with EASA / UKCAA / FAA part 145 certification, rules and regulations is desirable, training will be provided. Fluent in English Proficient in computers, i.e Microsoft office

Education

Fitter with workshop experience is required Technical qualification in Engineering desirable
