MECHANICAL FITTER - INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE & INSTALLATION

We are looking for a

Mechanical Fitter

to join our growing industrial maintenance team. If you have a mechanical background, and enjoy hands-on problem solving, we want to hear from you.

You'll be working both independently and as part of a team on our client's sites and our factory based in Rochester.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial equipment and plant machinery

Conduct fault-finding and preventative maintenance to minimise downtime

Work with other trades and supervisors to complete shutdowns and projects

Complete service reports and maintain accurate records of all work.

Ensure all work complies with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:

Trade qualification in Mechanical Fitting / Engineering (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)

Proven experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or plant environment.

Good all round mechanical knowledge.

Observe and work to health, safety, and quality standards

Full UK driving licence.
