Job Title: Experienced Mechanical Fitters - Mechanical Assembly
Location: Wallsend
Project Length: 1 Year
PAYE Rate: 21.50/hour (rising to 23.50/hour after training)
Hours: 42 hours/week

We are currently seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters to join a long-term project involving the assembly of Suspended Internal Platforms (SIPs).
This is a mechanical assembly role and we are looking for strong assembly experience, use of bobtail techniques, attention to detail, and the ability to read and work from engineering drawings.
*Key Responsibilities:
Mechanical assembly and fitting of Suspended Internal Platforms (SIPs)
Use of Bobtail techniques and other mechanical fitting tools
Working from technical drawings and instructions
Assembling components to specification
Collaborating with team members to meet project milestones
*Requirements:
Proven experience in mechanical assembly/fitting
Relevant qualification in Mechanical Assembly or Mechanical Engineering
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Familiarity with Bobtail techniques
Able to work at height
Reliable and committed to completing a 12-month project
Team player with a strong work ethic
*Pay & Progression:
Starting rate: 21.50/hour PAYE
After training (typically completed within 2 weeks): 23.50/hour PAYE
42-hour working week (no overtime currently available due to start of project)
