Role: Mechanical Fitter

Salary: \xc2\xa325,000-\xc2\xa327,000 (\xc2\xa313-\xc2\xa314 per hour)

Location: Wellingborough, Northamptonshire

Hours: Monday - Friday days only - 37.5 hours per week

Job Type: Full time, Permanent

The Client:

Interaction Technical have partnered with a well-established materials handling firm based in Wellingborough on their search for a mechanical bench fitter to join their growing team. Our client has been providing materials handling solutions to the Plastics Processing, Pharmaceutical, Food and Water Treatment industries for over 50 years and they are now looking to welcome someone mechanically skilled to the team.

The Package:

\xc2\xb7 Salary between \xc2\xa325,000-\xc2\xa327,000 dependent on experience

\xc2\xb7 25 days holiday + bank holiday

\xc2\xb7 3 days taken for Christmas shutdown

\xc2\xb7 Health Care Plan after 3 month probationary period has been passed

\xc2\xb7 Training & Development surrounding electrical & mechanical capabilities - some offsite courses

\xc2\xb7 Company pension scheme

The Role:

\xc2\xb7 Carry out the mechanical assembly and detailed fitting of special purpose machinery.

\xc2\xb7 Construct assemblies from engineering drawings.

\xc2\xb7 You will use a variety of hand tools to assemble parts

\xc2\xb7 You will work with other members of the assembly team

\xc2\xb7 There will be electrical aspects to the role - training will be offered for this

The Requirements:

\xc2\xb7 Must have mechanical capabilities (essential)

\xc2\xb7 Previous experience as a bench mechanical fitter (advantageous)

\xc2\xb7 Electrical knowledge (advantageous)

\xc2\xb7 Relevant qualifications (NVQ/HND/HNC/City & Guilds etc) - advantageous

\xc2\xb7 Team player

\xc2\xb7 Driven and motivated
