About Us



We are a leading precision engineering company based in Surrey, specialising in the manufacture of high-performance components for the

Formula 1, motorsport, and automotive industries

As part of our continued growth, we are establishing a

new Inspection Department

to strengthen our quality assurance capabilities and support increased production. We are now seeking an experienced

Mechanical Inspector

to join our team at this exciting stage.

Key Responsibilities



Perform detailed

inspection of precision-machined components

using a range of metrology equipment (e.g. micrometers, Verniers, height gauges, CMM, shadowgraphs). Verify products meet

engineering drawings, specifications, and tolerances

(typically within microns). Complete

FAIRs (First Article Inspection Reports)

and maintain accurate inspection records. Work closely with our CNC machinists and production engineers to resolve dimensional or quality issues. Support the implementation and continuous improvement of the company's

quality management system (ISO 9001 / AS9100)

. Contribute to the

setup and organization of the new inspection department

, including workflow, equipment calibration, and inspection procedures. Identify non-conformances and support root-cause investigations and corrective actions.

Requirements



Proven experience as a

Mechanical or Quality Inspector

within precision engineering or manufacturing. Strong knowledge of

inspection tools, techniques, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)

. Ability to interpret

complex engineering drawings and 3D models

. Experience with

CMM operation or programming (e.g., Mitutoyo, Zeiss, Hexagon, QCT)

preferred. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality and precision. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments. Previous experience within

motorsport, automotive, or aerospace

environments highly desirable.

Pay: 28,000.00-37,000.00 per year
