Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled

Mechanical Installation Engineer

to join our team. This hands-on role involves the installation, maintenance, and fabrication of mechanical equipment at customer sites across the UK. The position includes site-based work with occasional weekend work and overnight stays, as well as workshop-based fabrication and assembly tasks at our Hull facility.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out mechanical installation of equipment at customer sites. Perform plant audits and report findings. Liaise effectively with clients, suppliers, and team members. Respond to breakdowns and maintenance issues as needed. Participate in site-based work, which will include weekend work and overnight stays. Site visits typically involve extended periods away from home depending on project requirements. Accommodation and expenses are covered. Carry out fabrication and assembly work at our Hull-based workshop.

Skills & Experience:

Experience with hand and power tools. Fabrication/welding experience Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Valid CSCS Card Full UK Driving Licence. A self-motivated attitude with a strong work ethic.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 16.00-17.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 38 per week
