Mechanical Plumber Estimator - Roman Services Ltd

Location: London & Surrounding Areas

Salary: 40,000 - 60,000 (depending on experience)

Roman Services Ltd is a growing and dynamic building services company specialising in mechanical, plumbing, electrical, heating and air-conditioning installations. As part of our continued expansion, we are seeking an experienced Mechanical Plumber Estimator to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate and competitive quotations for mechanical and plumbing projects.

Interpret drawings, specifications and tender documents to produce material and labour cost estimates.

Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive prices.

Work closely with project managers and engineers to ensure smooth project handovers.

Provide technical support and cost advice throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Mechanical or Plumbing Estimator within the building services or construction industry.

Strong knowledge of mechanical systems (plumbing, heating, ventilation).

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and estimating software (e.g., Estimation, SimPRO, or similar).
