We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Supervisor to oversee our mechanical operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities and a solid background in mechanical systems, maintenance, and project management. This role involves supervising a team of operatives , ensuring compliance with safety standards, and maintaining high-quality production levels.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of mechanical operatives , providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations. Oversee all aspects of the plumbing and mechanical installation ensuring the highest of standards at all times. Develop and implement project plans, coordinating resources and timelines to meet production goals. Interpret schematics and technical drawings to troubleshoot issues effectively. Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify potential problems and implement preventative measures. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems within the overall production process. Maintain accurate records with the use of site audit pro or similar software. Foster a culture of safety by enforcing compliance with health and safety regulations .

Experience

Proven supervisory experience in a mechanical or engineering environment is essential. Strong project management skills with the ability to lead multiple tasks simultaneously. Solid understanding of mechanical principles, and maintenance practices. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members. Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration across teams.
