Mechanical Projects Manager

Working Hours

: 08:00 - 17:00 Monday to Friday

Report to:

Operations Director

Overview:

Due to further contract wins Robinsons MEA Ltd are excited to be recruiting a Mechanical Projects Manager to join our Contracts and Projects team in the delivery of mechanical and electrical contracts ranging from 10,000 to 1 million.

Package:

Salary negotiable dependent on experience and qualifications;

Company vehicle and fuel provided;

22 days' holiday plus Bank Holidays, increasing by 1 day for every 5 years' service to a maximum of 25 days;

Long term service bonuses at 5, 10 and 25-year intervals;

Birthdays off.

Responsibilities:

Management of projects from 10,000 up to 1 million;

Liaison with client and provision of basic design information (i.e. come up with basic designs/installation methods) as required;

Management of labour, site surveys, pricing small works, quality checking of small works;

Ordering materials and communicating job requirements to site staff effectively;

H&S management (RAMS etc.);

Invoicing small works.

Skills required:

5+ years' experience as a Mechanical Projects Manager and/or senior position Estimator or equivalent;

Personable, punctual and professional;

Great work ethic and willing to do what is necessary to get the job done;

Fully competent in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Outlook);

Able to work to highest standard of quality possible, while understanding Customer Service is key, but also fully aware of keeping costs down;

Be able to communicate at multiple levels;

Highly organised;

Ability to make decisions.
