Site Supervisor will coordinate operations and oversee subcontractors at construction sites. The role holder will be responsible for day to day running of the site and for ensuring work is carried out in accordance with the latest drawing, specifications and programme.

Key Responsibilities include:



Build and develop the team to deliver all aspects of the project requirements. Motivate the site team to reach daily and weekly targets. Monitor and instruct subcontractor and direct workforce, identifying training requirements and ensuring only trained, competent and authorised persons are completing assigned tasks and operating equipment. Identifying and communicating any delays on site to the senior management team. Demonstrate excellent safety awareness, and a willingness to comply with company policies and safety standards. Project a positive and cooperative attitude by maintaining courteous and professional conduct with Supervisors, co-workers, customers, and the general public. Ensure that the different work sites are kept clean and organised. Lead by example as a role model for company values and professional standards. Implement and monitor Quality Assurance and ensure compliance by on site team. Drive the delivery of business and corporate plans in own areas of responsibility. Manage delegated resources (e.g. budgets, equipment and contracts) as appropriate, to ensure value for money. Be fully aware of and actively comply with company policies and procedures relevant to responsibilities and to corporate policies and procedures including equality, sustainability and the environment, health and safety and data protection. Drive continuous improvement within own areas of responsibility.

Requirements:



Degree in Construction Engineering or equivalent Minimum experience of 3 years in a similar role Ability to assume responsibilities for decision-making on site Well-developed teamwork skills Excellent verbal, oral, and written communication skill Good analytical ability Knowledge of the relevant mechanical engineering statutory procedures with particular reference to Health and Safety Knowledge of the ISO 9001 and ISO 14001
