Job Title: Mechanical Supervisor

Location: Hybrid, Walsall based with travel

Salary: Up to 42,000 and benefits

A fantastic Opportunity for a mechanical supervisor to join our team of engineers in Walsall. Working within the Central Region you'll be expected to supervise and control all site activities in the most efficient manner, to the specification and within the contract time and cost allowances.

What's the role:

Prepare and manage all relevant documentation prior to site works, including Site Management Plans, CPPs, Risk Assessments, and Method Statements. Review and approve subcontractors' site documentation to ensure compliance with Safety, Health, and Environmental legislation. Oversee and control all site activities, ensuring safe and timely execution in accordance with legislation. Conduct Site Inductions and regular Toolbox Talks for all site visitors and workers. Liaise with engineering, operational staff, suppliers, specialist subcontractors, and in-house teams to plan outages, coordinate site activities, and ensure smooth project execution. Maintain records of subcontractor progress and performance, complete daily diary sheets, and document any delays or changes. Prepare and submit progress reports as required. Prepare material and plant requisitions, and ensure all site documentation, including Safety, Health, and Environmental records, is completed and up to date.

What you'll need:

Must hold SMSTS or SSSTS, Gold Supervisors card (preferred), Confined Space Trained, EUSR Water Hygiene Card Highly organized with excellent customer skills, strong team player yet able to work independently, and capable of managing a varied workload under pressure while meeting deadlines. IT is literate in MS Office packages, including MS Project, with excellent communication skills via email, phone, and face-to-face interactions. Clean UK Driving License.
