We are looking for a

Mechanical Team Leader

to oversee our Mechanical Workshop, which handles processes including drilling, linishing and deburring. This is a hands-on, shop floor-based role suited to someone who enjoys practical work, leading a team, and ensuring production runs efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

Complete appraisals of jobs, plan workloads, and schedule daily tasks to meet production objectives Lead the induction and provide training to new team members Set clear objectives, support team development, and monitor performance through regular feedback Supervise workshop teams according to company policies Prepare and analyse production reports Monitor performance and productivity, implement efficient working practices, and ensure the team meets output and quality targets

Requirements:

Must have a Mechanical Engineering background Experience in leading and managing a team of engineers or operators Ability to read engineering drawings Knowledge of basic planning, people management, and workload coordination Must have a hands-on approach.

Working hours

: 37.5h/week

Mon-Thu 7:30 AM-4:00 PM

Fri 7:30-1:00 PM
