Job Description

Role Overview:

We're looking for a technically skilled engineer with HNC/HND-level qualifications in

Electrical / Mechanical Engineering

to join our workshop. You'll be working on the preparation, assembly, and finishing of bespoke lighting systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Re-wiring and assembly of luminaires and lighting components Drilling, tapping, and other mechanical preparation Small-scale metalwork and fabrication (brackets, plates, chassis) Soldering of cables and low-voltage electronics General workshop duties to support production and installation teams Quality checks, testing and documentation

Essential Skills & Experience:

HNC or HND in Electrical & Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) Confident with tools and machinery (e.g. pillar drills, soldering irons, grinders) Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity Ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings/schematics Familiarity with low-voltage (12V-24V) systems and basic circuitry Team player with a strong work ethic and ability to work to deadlines

Desirable (Not Essential):

Experience in lighting, theatrical, or architectural product assembly Basic CAD understanding
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 32,000.00-37,000.00 per year
