Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical/ Electrical Engineer to carry out day to day inspections & repairs on our in house steel processing equipment & plant. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical & electrical engineering principles and practices, with a focus on proactive repair and safety. This role involves working alongside processing managers & staff to keep machinery in good working order & keeping downtime to a minimum.

Duties

Manage all mechanical & electrical requirements at site Daily walk round inspections of machinery & plant Troubleshooting/ Repairs & servicing Diagnostics to identify and resolve issues within electrical systems. Quick response to breakdown faults Organise any sub-contractor specialist repairs Create and maintain project documentation, including specifications, reports, and user manuals.

Requirements

Qualifications in Electrical/ electrical Engineering or a related field Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis effectively. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate effectively within teams. Work well in small team & alone

Pay: 40,000.00-45,000.00 per year
