As a Calibration Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will be the driving force behind our quest for excellence in the calibration process. Your mission? To ensure that calibration content meets the highest standards and that our Powertrain Electronic Control modules are nothing short of exceptional.

Your role is as diverse as it is thrilling. You\'ll be the guiding star for Product Owners and Calibration Engineers, leading them on a path of continuous improvement in quality and efficiency. You\'ll also be the go-to problem solver, shaping the future of our customer experience.

This specific SME role focuses on the development of control for Sensors, Actuators, and Powerstage calibrations across both Battery Electric Vehicle and Internal Combustion Engine programs. If you have experience with Oxygen Sensors, NOx Sensors, camshaft Crankshaft, and EDU Position sensors, you\'re exactly who we\'re looking for to lead the charge in driving best practices.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

Act as the Subject Matter expert for your attribute area, driving best practice and processes for end-to-end calibration delivery.

Develop the BoK (Books of Knowledge) for the Chapter and your sub-attribute SME area and share best practice within and across Chapters.

Lead development of optimised control calibrations for Internal Combustion Engine and Battery Electric Vehicle Powertrain Control Systems

What you\'ll need

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Essential:

  • Knowledge of developing Powertrain calibration and controls
  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience of sensor calibration development
  • History of driving best practice and continuous improvement
