Summary



We are seeking a Media Assistant to join our dynamic team at Sustainable Furniture UK LTD. This role is pivotal in supporting our marketing efforts and enhancing our brand presence as we strive to grow and promote our products for sustainable living. The successful candidate will be based in Cornwall and will play a key role in executing various media projects utilizing their experienced or developing skillset as a photographer and videographer.

This role would be a fantastic start for a graduate looking to get started in their career. The role is equally applicable to experienced freelancers looking to top-up or have a stable income in parallel to their own work. Please note that there are a significant number of projects active at the moment and we are expecting the hours to be nearer to a full week, certainly throughout this summer.

Responsibilities



Undertake all media production aspects of product photography and videography (shooting, editing and file management). Support the creation of engaging product content social media, website, and promotional materials. Communicate effectively with team members and external partners to coordinate media activities. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform marketing strategies. Utilize IT tools to streamline processes and enhance productivity. Support the warehouse team when required with general warehousing duties as well as the replenishment of products back into stock which have been used on shoots. Willingness to drive a company van to move furniture between locations, as well as support the warehouse team with nationwide deliveries on occasion.

Requirements



Safety conscious and demonstrate safe working practices at all times. Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Your own transport for commuting to work and shoot locations. Physical fitness. Many of the products we photograph are table sets, which will need moving regularly between the warehouse to lifestyle properties and studio. A well-rounded understanding of cameras and lenses, along with good studio knowledge including grip equipment, lighting and modifiers. Strong knowledge of Photoshop, Lightroom and Premiere Pro is required. Basic other IT skills, including familiarity with office software and digital media tools (Canva etc.). Remain up to date with interior and exterior design trends and imagery techniques to represent products. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Experience or knowledge in marketing principles is useful. Proficiency in English is essential for effective communication.
