What you would be doing
---------------------------
Offer technical support for IT and media systems, promptly troubleshooting and resolving issues.
Manage and maintain local servers, ensuring smooth integration with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
Support media workflows, including streaming, editing, archiving, and media asset management (MAM).
Assist in deploying and optimising local Large and Small Language Models (LLMs/SLMs).
Apply basic security practices in line with the university's ICT policy.
Supporting Digital Media Lab's day-to-day tasks and R&D efforts.*

We are looking for someone who is technically skilled, has a passion for media workflows, will support our facilities, help facilitate large-scale creative projects, and uphold the DML's status as a pioneer in digital media and immersive learning.
