Freelance Media Relations Trainer - Short-Term Contract
Location: Kensington, London
Dates: Wednesday 18th June (9:30am - 12:30pm) & Thursday 19th June (9:30am - 4:30pm)
Rate: Competitive Day Rate (Outside IR35)
Contract Type: Freelance / Self-Employed
We are working with a prestigious UK-based training provider who urgently requires an experienced Media Relations Trainer to step in and deliver part of a professional development programme for a high-profile delegate from Saudi Aramco.
This is a short-term in-person delivery opportunity, stepping in for the final two days of a five-day training programme. The first two days will be covered by another trainer, so handover and support will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, engaging training sessions based on pre-defined course content
• Facilitate interactive group work and practical exercises around media handling
• Provide real-world insights and professional tips in press relations, interview prep, and digital media strategies
• Offer feedback and respond to participant queries during and after the sessions
• Represent the training provider in a professional and consultative manner

Some Key Modules: * Identifying the Importance of Stories

• Press Conferences and Interviews
• Techniques for Digital and Social Media

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Proven experience delivering Media Relations or PR training, ideally to international professionals
• Background in public relations, journalism, corporate communications or media consulting
• Confident, professional presence with excellent communication and facilitation skills
• Comfortable delivering to small, high-level groups in a corporate environment
• Available for both delivery days and able to prepare from provided course materials
