Aberfoyle Medical practice is a busy Multi-Disciplinary site, providing Healthcare services to the local area.
We are looking for people to join our friendly well established team on a temporary basis but could be permanent for the right candidate.
Hours of work will be between 8:30am and 6pm Monday to Friday- so all potential applicants must be flexible and available to work within those times. (Non negotiable) Please note this position is not suitable for students.
In your job you will be given training and support to carry out the following duties:
-Covering reception by greeting patients and dealing with face to face queries efficiently.
-Answering phone calls and navigating patients to the most appropriate clinician.
-Making appointments for patients to see Doctors, Practice Nurses, Physio's, mental health, Social Worker and other members of the clinical team using computerised clinical system.
-Processing requests for repeat and acute medication.
-Undertake general admin tasks- scanning, photocopying,
-Liaising with outside bodies e.g. pharmacies, hospitals, insurance companies etc
-Working on your own initiative

Essential criteria:
--GCSE Maths & English minimum grade C
AND
-2 years admin experience in a busy office environment
or
-2 years customer service experience in a fast paced retail or telephone call centre environment.
Desirable
AMSPAR/City & Guilds Level 2 Diploma Medical Administration
