We are looking for a passionate and knowledgeable Medical Advisor to join our team and help shape the future of our digital health product. The initial focus for this role will be to support our weight management proposition across the business, however there will be a number of exciting projects beyond this in the future.
As a Medical Advisor, you will leverage your expertise in healthcare and digital product development to guide our team in creating effective and compliant health applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that our digital solutions meet clinical standards and address the needs of our diverse user base, both in the D2C and B2B environment.
The Role:
The Purpose of the Role:

• The role will support the development of H&B&Me digital product and the core business on aspects related to customer weight management journeys.
• Forming part of the medical team, this full-time role will input cross-functionally; providing clinical expertise in product development, content, marketing, and related partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Medical & Wellness Expertise

Provide clinical guidance and due diligence across wellness propositions, with an initial focus on weight management. * Digital Product Development
Advise on the design and optimisation of digital health solutions, ensuring clinical integrity, regulatory compliance, and user relevance. * Marketing & Content
Align clinical narratives across channels; review app and marketing content to ensure accuracy and compliance; support PR and corporate affairs when needed. * Service Oversight & Governance
Support oversight of clinical service providers, contribute to risk management and SOPs, and assist with onboarding and training on medical topics. * Business Development & Strategy
Shape go-to-market strategies, develop evaluation frameworks for partnerships, contribute to market insights, and represent the business externally where relevant.
Location:
This role is based in London (or Nuneaton), and is required to travel to our Nuneaton Hub (or London) and occasionally to any other location of H&B. We support flexibility and productivity of our employees by hybrid working arrangements with minimum 2 days presence in the offices.
The Person:
Key Requirements:

• A background or strong interest in lifestyle medicine, preventative health, or behavioural science is key. Specific experience and expertise in both medicalised and non-medicalised approaches to weight management is highly desirable - ideally with direct experience in weight management settings.
• Strong commercial and strategic mindset, with the ability to translate clinical pathways into customer-centric, scalable solutions.
• Experience in fast-paced or start-up environments, comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving progress in evolving settings.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - able to simplify complex ideas and influence stakeholders across levels.
• Collaborative and low-ego working style, with the ability to build trusted relationships and work cross-functionally across teams.
• Understanding of health-tech regulations and best practices in digital healthcare delivery and governance.
• A genuine interest or background in lifestyle medicine, behavioural science, wellness, or weight management is highly desirable.
