We are seeking a highly organised and detail-focused
M
edical Insurance Administrator to join our friendly GP practice team. This role involves managing and completing a variety of medical insurance reports and forms on behalf of our clinicians, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and timely completion.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, complete, and process medical insurance reports (e.g., GP reports, medical questionnaires, claims documentation)
Liaise with insurance companies, patients, and clinicians to gather necessary information
Ensure all documentation meets legal, clinical, and data protection standards
Manage workload to meet required deadlines
Maintain accurate records and support the wider administrative team when necessary
Processing request for copies of medical records
Skills & Experience
Previous experience in a GP practice, medical administration, or insurance environment is desirable
Strong attention to detail and excellent written communication skills
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information in line with GDPR
Good organisational and time-management abilities
Knowledge of iGPR is highly beneficial, though training can be provided
