We are seeking a dedicated and professional Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in office and administrative experience, demonstrating exceptional organisational skills and a commitment to providing outstanding patient care. As the first point of contact for patients, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a welcoming and efficient environment.

Duties



Greet patients warmly and assist them with the check-in process Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and cancellations Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality Answer phone calls promptly and respond to inquiries with professionalism Process patient paperwork and insurance claims as required Collaborate with healthcare providers to facilitate smooth operations within the practice Handle billing inquiries and assist patients with payment processes Maintain a clean and organised reception area

Requirements



Previous office experience is essential; administrative experience in a medical setting is highly desirable Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Proficient in using office equipment and computer software, including electronic health records (EHR) systems Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a calm demeanour A compassionate approach towards patient care and confidentiality
