We are seeking a friendly and organised receptionist to join our clinic team on a part-time basis. The offered hours are every Friday and two Saturdays per month while also covering for leave of the existing receptionist. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth operations at the front desk.
The main responsibilities will include:
- Greeting and assisting patients as they arrive at the clinic.
- Answer incoming calls and respond to inquiries regarding appointments, services, and general clinic information.
- Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's appointment calendar.
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality in accordance with GDPR regulations.
- Collect and process patient payments and insurance information.
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure efficient patient flow.
- Manage administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and inventory management.
Previous experience in a medical office or customer service role is preferred though not essential. The successful candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, be proficient in computer systems and office software and have the ability to multitask.
