In this role, you will manage a multitude of tasks daily, including but not limited to:
Working the front desk, warmly greeting patients, listening to their needs, and resolving their queries or requests with professionalism and care.
Utilising the practice system, recording data accurately and consistently to maintain our high standards.
Managing telephone calls professionally, addressing patient concerns, booking appointments, and directing queries appropriately.
Handling a high volume of emails using Microsoft Outlook, including responding promptly to patient and clinical queries and managing the practice's inbox.
Making patient referrals via the e-Referral System (e-RS).
Assisting with prescriptions processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

Schedule of working hours (37 hours - provisional and subject to change):
Monday 07:45 - 18:00 (60m break)
Tuesday 08:00 - 17:00 (60m break)
Wednesday 07:45 - 14:30 (30m break)
Thursday 07:45 - 13:00
Friday 07:45 - 17:00 (60m break)
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments
- Maintain patient records and update information in the system
- Handle incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate department
- Process payments and issue receipts
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, emailing, and scanning documents
- Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable
Skills:
- Proficient in office administration tasks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational abilities with attention to detail
