We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Lead Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will carry out front-desk and administrative responsibilities, as well as providing leadership support to the reception team and ensuring the smooth daily operation of high-quality patient care.
Duties include:
General reception duties, including receiving and directing patients, making appointments, dealing with enquiries and administrative tasks.
Supporting the Reception team to develop the most efficient processes and procedures.
Acting as the communication link between the management team and staff.
Managing staff front desk rota cover for holidays and sickness.
Training new staff.
Uphold confidentiality and adhere to data protection regulations at all times
Requirements
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
Previous experience, in a medical reception or administrative role and knowledge of EMISweb desirable, (knowledge of other practice management systems may be an advantage)
Previous team leadership experience
Strong administrative skills with excellent organisational abilities
Professionalism with a compassionate approach towards patients
Knowledge of healthcare regulations and data protection standards is advantageous
