What You'll Do
Greet patients warmly
and make them feel comfortable.
Answer calls and manage enquiries
, redirecting where necessary.
Book appointments
for new and follow-up visits.
Support clinicians and management
by taking messages and recording home visit requests.
Handle administrative tasks
such as scanning documents, managing workflow on EMIS and DOCMAN, and processing repeat prescriptions.
Maintain accurate records
and assist with NHS reporting.
Coordinate patient care
by arranging hospital transport, sending referral emails, and following up on test results.
Manage supplies and protocols
, including stationery, vaccine deliveries, and fridge temperature checks.
Ensure reception and consulting rooms are tidy
and ready for the next day.
Take on
ad-hoc tasks
as needed to support the team.
What We're Looking For
A friendly, professional communicator who enjoys helping people.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Comfortable using IT systems (EMIS/DOCMAN experience is a bonus, but training will be provided).
Ability to work as part of a supportive team in a busy environment.
