We have a full/part time vacancy for enthusiastic practice receptionist to work as part of a driven team in this busy GP Surgery. The role is very varied and you will be working within a supportive, motivated, friendly and enthusiastic team.
Applicants should ideally have previous experience of a customer focused role, be pleasant, articulate and a team player with personal integrity and loyalty. IT skills are essential although full training on specific practice computer and administrative systems will be provided on induction to the successful candidate.
The post holder will be required to be a strong team player, but also able to work autonomously, develop, maintain and work in accordance with practice protocols.
Hours are 25 - 37.5 per week over 5 days and will include set hours between 8 am and 6.30 pm. Hours will be agreed on appointment. Flexibility to cover annual leave and sickness is essential.

Cowbridge & Vale Medical Practice has 3 GP Partners, two salaried GP, a clinical pharmacist, two Advanced Nurse Practitioners, a Nursing Assistant, cluster Pharmacist, Mental Health Liaison officer, Physiotherapist and a Phlebotomist. We have strong and supportive management, administration and reception teams.
We provide care for patients covering a wide rural area and are steadily increasing our patient numbers.

Experience of working in a busy reception area

Available to work at short notice
Ability to speak Welsh
Experience of working in a primary care or GP setting or public facing role is not essential.
