Job Overview: We are looking for a friendly Receptionists to join the current team. 26 hours over three days will be contracted with expectation that more hours will be worked covering annual leave and absence within the team. Flexibility is essential.
The preferred applicants will have previous experience as a medical receptionist or in customer service but all training will be provided. The ideal candidate would be someone with excellent communication and IT skills, who is able to work as part of a fast paced, dynamic team.
The job involves speaking to patients in person or over the telephone, being the first point of contact at the Practice, communication skills are therefore vital. The successful candidates will assist with booking appointments, dealing with queries, assisting and directing patients in accessing appropriate services or healthcare professionals in a courteous, efficient and effective way. There are also a variety of administrative tasks to perform in accordance with Practice protocols.
