Job Description

We are looking for a motivated, customer-focused individual to join our friendly and dynamic pharmacy team. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering outstanding service and supporting the health and wellbeing of our patients.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service

Provide a warm and welcoming experience to every customer. Offer accurate advice on over-the-counter (OTC) medications and healthcare products. Assist patients in selecting suitable products based on their needs. Build positive relationships with customers and resolve queries or concerns with care and professionalism.

Pharmacy Operations

Process transactions accurately and handle cash securely. Ensure stock is replenished, shelves are well-presented, and the pharmacy environment remains clean and organised. Support with stock control and adhere to all pharmacy regulations, health, and safety standards.

Teamwork & Collaboration

Work closely with colleagues to ensure smooth daily operations. Contribute to a positive, supportive, and collaborative team culture.

Learning & Development

Take part in training opportunities, including NVQ II and/or NVQ III qualifications. Show enthusiasm to grow your knowledge and progress within the pharmacy profession.

Essential Skills & Qualities

Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Passion for delivering excellent customer service. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. High attention to detail and accuracy. Positive, enthusiastic, and professional attitude. Flexibility to work varied shifts (between 9:00 AM and 7:00 PM on Mondays and Tuesdays). Multilingual skills are highly advantageous.

Desirable

Previous experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting (not essential). Familiarity with pharmacy procedures and regulations.

Pay: 7.55-12.21 per hour
