We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Medicine Counter Assistant (MCA) / Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. If you are passionate about patient care and have the necessary qualifications and experience, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

Works at the front counter; sells OTC medicines under pharmacist supervision Providing advice and support to patients on the use of medicines and general health matters. Managing stock levels, including ordering and checking deliveries. Ensuring the safe and effective operation of the pharmacy in line with health and safety regulations. Supporting the pharmacist and wider team in day-to-day pharmacy operations. Maintaining confidentiality and patient privacy at all times.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a Medicine Counter Assistant (MCA)/ Pharmacy Assistant or in a similar role. Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Medicines Counter and Dispensing Course (or equivalent qualification). Familiarized with Pharmacy First, vaccination and other services. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Ability to work well as part of a team and independently. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
