Medicines Counter Assistant
Job Description
We currently have a vacancy for an enthusiastic, trustworthy employee to work as a Medicines Counter Assistant on Saturdays 9am-1pm at New Town Pharmacy in central Edinburgh.
Your role will mainly involve supporting the efficient running of the pharmacy including but not restricted to counter sales and advice as well as handing out medication. We offer a range of healthcare services and you will be trained to allow you to be part of our team delivering these services to drive forward our patient-centred model.
The successful candidate will be a strong communicator who can work well within our team but is also able to work on their own initiative and take responsibility for tasks within the working environment.
This role would be ideal for a student studying pharmacy or related healthcare field, but not essential as the successful candidate will be offered appropriate training under the supervision of the pharmacist.
This role is for Saturdays 9am-1pm, with optional Friday hours if desired by the successful candidate.
