More detail about the role Job summary We are looking for an enthusiastic medicines management technician to join our team at the Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital (Wonford). We have a fully electronic prescribing system which is increasing the involvement and engagement of patients, carers and staff, transforming clinical services and care Our team of hardworking, focused, ambitious and friendly medicines management technicians have helped develop the service across the trust and are valued members of the clinical pharmacy and ward teams making this is an excellent opportunity to work with a wide range of patients and healthcare professionals whilst developing your skills and experience in Pharmacy. This role is suitable not only for technicians that already hold a Medicines Management Accreditation but also as a Band 4 to 5 progressive role for newly qualified technicians or technicians that are due to qualify in September 2025 and are working towards their Medicines Management and Technician Checking Accreditation.



Please note, onward progression to Band 5 requires completion of MM accreditation, technician checking accreditation and meds history taking training (if not achieved). Requirement to participate in 7 day working to include late duties, bank holidays and weekend working. Please note that in order to deliver a high standard of care to patients the Pharmacy service operates 7 days a week and staff are therefore required to work some weekends as part of their contracted hours. Please note the salary for the Band 4 position is:
