MEICA Site Supervisor
As a MEICA Site Supervisor, you will supervise TDC's electrical and mechanical installation and maintenance engineers, to ensure the delivery of various projects, to the highest QHSE standards, the required programme and to the maximum commercial performance.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Framework Utilities Manager, MEICA Project Manager, and mechanical and electrical engineers, to ensure that projects are completed in a safe manner whilst customer requirements and expectations are always maintained or exceeded.
Key Requirements:
Supervision of MEICA installation works, providing clear direction and guidance to the team, to deliver the work safely without environmental incidents, and to the specified quality.
Ensure implementation of Project Plans and RAMS, as well as Waste Management Plans, when specified, in line with Company procedures.
Prepare and maintain comprehensive MEICA project documentation, including Method Statements and Risk Assessments.
Ensure MEICA installation and maintenance is delivered to the appropriate levels of quality, relevant standards and manufacturers best practice.
Co-ordinate with the mechanical and electrical engineers to carry out all Site Acceptance Testing and Commissioning.
Support completion of MEICA installation and commissioning records and diaries ensuring that all progress and equipment settings are recorded.
Liaise with customer to ensure successful commissioning.
Experience and Qualifications:
Hold a formal qualification in a relevant Mechanical or Electrical discipline.
Experience in MEICA and Civil Engineering environments as a Site Supervisor, preferably within the water industry.
Excellent communication and organisation skills harnessing the ability to effectively work with our company MEICA team, the client and external contractors.
Ability to work with minimum supervision, be self-motivated and driven, and use your initiative to deliver high-quality work.
CSCS Card
IOSH Managing Safely or SMSTS
Knowledge of (WIMES) Water Industry Minimum Electrical Standards advantageous.
EUSR Water Hygiene card advantageous, but full training can be provided.
CP1/2 - Confined Space Certification advantageous, but full training can be provided.
This role will require you to travel to multiple sites across Scotland depending on the project that you are working on, therefore a full UK driving licence is required.
