THE ROLE

As a Waiter, you will be responsible for wowing our guests with exceptional service and making them feel at home in our Aethos Members Lounge



Waiters provide excellent customer service to ensure a memorable dining experience for all guests. They are responsible for accurately taking orders, serving food and beverages promptly and attending to customer needs with professionalism and courtesy throughout the service.

Key Responsibilities

Acknowledges and warmly greets all guests upon arrival. Provide a professional and welcoming service to all guests through their dining experience. Present menus, take accurate food and beverage orders, and ensure timely delivery. Possess thorough knowledge of the menu and be able to confidently make recommendations. Be fully conversant with relevant company procedures e.g., Fire, Security, Health Safety. Contribute ideas/suggestions to improve standards procedures to enable service excellence. Up-sell additional products when appropriate. Participate in meetings and trainings to enhance knowledge skills to improve personal performance. Ensure compliance with all SOP's. Ensure effective communications between shifts via internal handovers. Maintain an efficient operation clean working environment. Liaise effectively with the kitchen and bar to ensure seamless coordination and presentation. Ensure all billing and payment procedures are completed accurately.

Requirements Qualifications

Mandatory:


Lawful permanent resident, eligible to work in the UK Proven experience as a waiter in fine dining restaurant Fluent in English

Preferred:


Professional certification Knowledge of wine service and pairing
