The Flexible Space Association (FlexSA) is the UK trade body for the flexible workspace industry. We are a membership body, offering support, information and events for people working at our member companies across the UK.
About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and well-organised
Membership and Office Manager
to play a key role in supporting our members and ensuring the smooth running of our association's administrative operations. This is a varied and hands-on position, ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, managing essential administrative tasks and contributing to a small but busy team.
Key Responsibilities
Member Relations
Act as a main point of contact for members, responding promptly and professionally to enquiries.
Maintain regular contact with members to ensure their needs are met and to encourage engagement with the association's frequent activities.
Keep accurate membership records and update the membership database.
Issue membership renewal notices and manage invoicing and payment tracking.
Office and Administrative Support
Provide daily administrative support to ensure efficient operations.
Maintain office systems, files and records.
Support financial administration, including processing invoices and expense claims.
Events and Meetings
Assist in the delivery of FlexSA events.
Take on responsibility for the FlexSA Compliance Forum, which meets four times a year, and related activities.
Person Specification
Essential Skills and Experience
Excellent administrative and organisational skills, with attention to detail.
Confident in a customer-facing role and regular liaising with members.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Comfortable with using technology platforms, including Microsoft software.
Knowledge and experience of financial administration (e.g. invoicing, reconciliations).
A proactive team player with a flexible, can-do attitude.
Hours and Working Arrangements
This is a part time role, for 22.5 hours per week. The hours are set on the basis of working 3 full days per week, but we are open to discussing spreading the hours across the working week.
The role is predominantly office-based, but hybrid working would be considered.
Salary
30-35k, pro-rata, depending on experience
