We are currently looking for a vibrant person with great communication skills, who enjoys talking to people and is passionate about nature to help raise the vital funds needed to protect wildlife in Staffordshire.
About You.
You don't need to know a lot about wildlife and conservation, but you do need to be passionate about it, and have the determination to make a difference. What knowledge you might lack initially will be made up for by your eagerness to learn.
Your confident and friendly personality will enable you to engage positively with members of the public, giving you the opportunity to use your well-developed listening and oral communication skills.
No membership recruitment experience? No problem! You may not have worked in fundraising before, but your background will preferably include experience in sales, customer service, campaigning, teaching, or any other role where you had to weave compelling stories and communicate confidently.
You love being outdoors in all seasons, and your resilience is evident in your positive attitude.
About the Role.
Your role will be to recruit new members at a variety of nature reserves, third party venues and events around the county pre-booked by our friendly in-house venue co-ordinator. You'll join our enthusiastic team making a real difference by helping Staffordshire Wildlife Trust to fund its nature conservation work to protect and enhance the wildlife and wild places of Staffordshire.

Fantastic earning potential with uncapped commission! You're guaranteed a minimum of 22,222 (FTE) with our top performer earning in excess of 40,000 (FTE)
Contract
We offer permanent, part-time contracts of 21 or 28 hours to fit around your busy lifestyle. Additional hours may also be available.
Training
Full induction, training and support is provided from day one, with two days office-based and two days in the field with experienced recruiters. You will also benefit from regular ongoing support and coaching from our experienced membership recruitment manager.

A registered charity established in 1969 and one of 46 county Wildlife Trusts throughout the UK and are supported by over 19,000members.
The Trust owns or manages 45 nature reserves covering an area of over 1947 hectares. Our 140 staff are based in six locations around the county including our Headquarters at Wolseley Bridge, Stafford, with our work divided up into five departments: Resources, People Engagement, Conservation Delivery, Fundraising, Communication and Membership & Commercial.
